Red clover

This is a cool weather cover crop with nice red flowers.  Its a good soil builder can be eaten. As a green or used in tea some folks use it for sprouts also great in salads.  But it's most common use is planting after your crops are gone to put back into the soil.  Also your goats and cows will get a treat takes around 70 plus days. To bloom we use it kinda a spring nurse crop for are winter squash to plant between the rows and to get a jump on attracting beneficial insects. This is all around good to have around the homestead
